What’s In Your Profile Photos?

26. April 2011 by Christy 0 Comments

Believe it or not, the subject matter of your profile photos can greatly affect how a Russian woman perceives you. Here are five common photo subjects and the photos that work best on

Your Things

If your profile photos focus on material objects like cars, boats, houses, or trucks, you may give a Russian lady the wrong impression. While most men only intend to demonstrate that they are financially able to take care of a wife when posting pics of flashy cars or big homes, such photos can come across as arrogant or obnoxious. The vast majority of ladies want to see you, not your car.

Your Pet

It’s hard to go wrong with a heartwarming photo of a man and his pet. If your dog or cat is important to you, don’t hesitate to post a pic of the two of you together.

Your Female Friends

For reasons unknown, some men post photos of themselves with an attractive woman (or two). This is not the best idea. Naturally, the ladies are going to wonder who the woman is and why you included her in your profile. Some will wonder if you’re a womanizer. Unless a woman is a family member, she probably shouldn’t be appearing in your profile pics.

Your Family

Speaking of family, most ladies will be happy to see photos of you with your kids, parents, or members of your extended family. Family is very important to Russian women so the ladies will be happy to see that you get along well with yours.

Of course, the best profile photos are those that show just you. Why? It’s you who might be a Russian woman’s potential match. Therefore, it's only natural she wants to know what you look like. If you’re limited in the number of photos you can upload to, be sure to include photos that clearly show your cheerful, smiling face. The family and pet photos can come later.

For best results on RLM, include a photo of you, your pets, or your family. Photos of female friends and material objects, on the other hand, are generally not the best idea.
