Want a Lady's Personal Contact Information?

14. December 2012 by Christy 0 Comments

Thinking of asking for a woman's phone number or email address? Don't forget about the Intimacy Request process! At a time of year when many people wish to send cards or gifts or exchange holiday greetings with someone special, here's a a few things to keep in mind about RLM's Intimacy Request policy.

Intimacy Request Policy

As detailed in the Terms of Use, couples can’t exchange personal contact information without first completing the Intimacy Request process. This means a man can’t join RLM and then send his phone number, mailing address address, or social networking info whenever he feels like it. The same rules apply to the women.

While this policy may seem annoying or unfair, it exists to help keep us compliant with the International Marriage Broker Regulation Act of 2005 (IMBRA) and to help members get to one know one another without the pressure or discomfort of sharing personal information with a complete stranger.

Intimacy Request Process

So what exactly is an Intimacy Request? In short, it’s a formal request to exchange personal contact information with a woman. A man must be a Qualified Member and IMBRA approved before he can make a request. A Qualified Member is a member with a current premium membership (Silver, Gold, or Platinum) who has used at least 1,000 credits on our site. Once a woman approves an Intimacy Request, she and a man can communicate off Russian Love Match and even make plans to meet.

Completing the Intimacy Request process can take some time, so don’t delay if you want to contact a lady before Christmas. Congratulations on finding someone special and good luck on the next step in your Russian dating relationship.
