Think Her Messages Sound Insincere?

25. June 2010 by Christy 0 Comments

At times, members of RussianLoveMatch question the sincerity or authenticity of a lady’s letters. Brief messages, not answering specific questions, and the seemingly excessive use of terms of endearment like “darling,” “sweetie,” and “my love” cause some to believe that a lady is up to no good. However, these aren't definite indications of a scammer.

The majority of women on do not have the time or English skills to write lengthy emails so they write brief ones instead or request to chat. If a lady doesn't answer a specific question it does not mean she isn’t reading your letters or is purposely ignoring you. It’s more likely that she either didn’t understand your inquiry or forgot to address it. Give her the benefit of the doubt before jumping to conclusions. Believe it or not, many ladies have the same complaint about our gentlemen members!  As for use of the flowery term of endearments, that is a cultural thing. You’ve likely noticed that many of the Russian women’s profiles are passionate and dramatic, more so than the average Western woman’s profile, and this passion carries over into emails as well.

Sure, some Russian women send questionable emails. However, a gentleman should give a lady chance before accusing her of being insincere or labeling her a scammer. As always, if a member has any questions or doubts about a lady on our site he is more than welcome to call our customer service team and report his concerns.
