Museums, Monuments, Matches in Donetsk

29. May 2012 by Michelle 0 Comments

As the fifth largest city in Ukraine, Donetsk is the center of the country's coal mining and steel industries. Football is also a big focus of the town and Donbass Arena will host three EURO 2012 matches next month.

There is much more to see and do in Donetsk when visiting your favorite Ukrainian girls. The city has over 140 museums including the Donetsk Regional History Museum and the Donetsk Regional Art Museum. Plus, First Line Avenue, also known as Artema Street, is the place to find Lenin Square, the Opera and Ballet Theater, the Monument to Coal Miners, and Donetsk Drama Theater.

Pushkin Boulevard is another nice place for romantic strolls while gazing upon peaceful fountains and interesting statues. You may choose to dine at any one of the al fresco cafes or visit the famous plant forged out of steel, the intricate Mertsalov Palm.

Speaking of figures forged out of steel, don't forget to visit Forged Figures Park. It's a popular place for marriage proposals as well as wedding ceremonies. The Royal Marine Aquapark is scheduled to open this summer and become the largest retractable aluminum-domed indoor waterpark in the world.

Are you dating any girls who live in The City of a Million Roses? Consider visiting them this summer and experience everything Donetsk has to offer!
