Known as the highest, snowiest, and most remote ski resort in all of Ukraine, Dragobrat is a place of all natural beauty. Not only is there plenty of skiing and snowboarding runs, but the magnificent landscape makes this location a popular spot for hikers as well.
With the steepest slopes in the country, Dragobrat starts at 1400 meters (4600 feet) above sea level, surrounded by thick forests. The slopes stretch higher and higher, right up to the monstrous Mount Bliznitsa at 1883 meters (6178 feet) above sea level. This great elevation gives breathtaking views of the Carpathian Mountains.
Plan your trip anytime from November through May, since this is when snow is guaranteed. There hasn’t been a winter at Dragobrat without snow in 30 years, even in the warmest winters. This is due to its rare and unusual, naturally formed horse shoe shaped location.
From beginner slopes to the steep extremes, Dragobrat is an amazing ski resort to include in your next Ukrainian vacation.
