Arena Lviv Ready for Football Fans

21. May 2012 by Michelle 0 Comments

Arena Lviv was recently constructed to host three matches during EURO 2012 with the first on June 9th as Germany takes on Portugal. Gentlemen planning to visit Russian brides this summer should certainly try to visit the state-of-the-art stadium. However, there is so much more to see and do that the city has had a 40% increase in tourism over the past 10 years, which is the highest rate in Europe.

Located in Western Ukraine, Lviv (or Lvov in Russian) has garnered the nickname the "little Paris of Ukraine" and has been named the best Ukrainian city to live in by Focus magazine. With its old buildings and cobblestone roads, Lviv is home to many must see cultural attractions like the Lviv Theater of Opera and Ballet, the Golden Horseshoe castles, the historic city center, and the Lychakiv Cemetery.

Take a romantic stroll with your favorite lady around Market Square, or Rynok Square. In addition to many statues and fountains, the gothic and renaissance style buildings are stunning to see. One of the more famous buildings is the Black House where visitors can find the Lviv Historical Museum. Places like the Lviv Chocolate Workshop and Robert Doms Beer House are fun date ideas too.

Plus, a trip to Lviv wouldn't be complete without a ride on one of city's 220 trams. Bicycling is becoming a popular method of transportation as well so why not rent a bike and ride around town to see the sights?

If you're dating any Ukrainian girls living in or around Lviv (or Lvov in Russian), consider planning your trip now to visit them this summer! Contact the travel liaison to learn about a special offer!
