3 Types of Photos That Members Should Avoid

12. July 2011 by Christy 0 Comments

While some mistake international dating sites as a free for all where pretty much anything goes, RussianLoveMatch is not that kind of service. To provide members (both male and female) with a fun, safe, and comfortable dating experience there are a few rules we must require our members to follow.

Nude Photos or Photos That Are Sexually Explicit

Per RussianLoveMatch.com's Terms of Use, members are not permitted to post content that “displays or describes pornographic or sexually explicit material of any kind.” Therefore, men should not send the ladies nude photos or crotch shots nor should they attempt to post such photos on RLM profiles.  Not only do photos of members’ members violate our Terms of Use, but many Russian women report being turned off by men who behave inappropriately or those who are preoccupied with sex. Once a couple has completed the Intimacy Request process, they are free to send whatever they wish. Until then, members of RLM should keep things clean.

Photos That Reveal Personal Contact Information

Photos that disseminate “telephone numbers, postal addresses, URLs, instant message IDs, email addresses or any other form of personal contact information” are also a violation of RussianLoveMatch's Terms of Use. Again, couples who complete the Intimacy Request can send whatever they want. However, we believe that couples should spend time getting to know another before revealing their personal contact information. Some members disagree with this policy, but it is our policy all the same, and gentlemen who wish to use RussianLoveMatch must abide by these rules.

Fake Photos, Celebrity Pics

Celebrity profile photos are also inappropriate for RLM (unless you are one). Not only do celeb pics violate copyright laws, but they lead the ladies to believe you’re someone you’re not, which is of course against the rules. You don’t have to be George Clooney to land a Russian bride so there’s no need to rely on his photos. Fake photos, that is, photos you claim feature you but in fact feature someone else, are also prohibited.

In short, sexually explicit photos, photos that reveal personal contact information, or any other picture that violates RussianLoveMatch.com's Terms of Use are not permitted on our site. Not sure if your photo is acceptable? Read the Terms and find out!
